Moving pictures from the same scenes as the walkthrough. Every frame is rendered from the project's data, and the eras keep their labels: survey, reconstruction or theorized.
The panorama stand south-west of Menkaure at golden hour, 120 mm: today, the plateau of c. 1800, the plateau as built, c. 2500 BCE, then the two theorized eras, the long rains of c. 7000 BCE and the First Time of c. 10,500 BCE. Each era is one still, dissolving into the next.
From over the head of Khafre's causeway, south-south-east of the statue, with Khufu's pyramid behind, forward in time: the lion freshly carved in the First Time, the same lion worn by the long rains, Khafre's king in his headcloth, buried to the chest by c. 1800, and the Sphinx as it is. The first two are the older Sphinx the erosion case argues for; every statue is a labelled stand-in fitted to the survey's outline.
